We operate an Estate Management Company, and have used ABA exclusively for our HVAC needs for the last 3 years. I cannot speak more highly of their service. Their technicians are prompt, communicative, and thorough; and are knowledgeable across a wide variety of product and systems. Their billing is easy to understand, and always aligns with the estimate given beforehand. We also utilize their maintenance plans at several properties, and are extremely pleased with their ongoing service visits to maintain our equipment.

Incredibly impressed with the service I received from ABA, from the people that answered the phone to the technician that came out and took care of my heater. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Aaron responded to our service request. We had had our electrical box replaced and afterwards our heater stopped working. Our electrician couldn’t figure out what caused it. We left town for six weeks. While we were away, we found out my husband had to have surgery the day after we returned and finding a company and calling for service was low on the priority list. However, we were cold and I was concerned about my husband’s recovery. My husband found ABA online and I called for an appointment. I was promised someone would there here in 3 hours! When Aaron came to check out the unit, he quickly diagnosed the problem as a melted control panel caused by the electrician hooking a 240v circuit to a 115v unit. The heater was toast.Aaron assured us he could have a crew out the next day and replace the unit. True to his word, Aaron sent Richard and his crew bright and early the next morning. By that evening we almost had heat – the delay was a result of the mess left behind by the former owners who had jury rigged a system that never functioned well since we bought the house. The next morning at 7 a.m., Richard returned to finish the last bit and we are happy as clams – warm too! ABA went beyond and above what was necessary to get our service restored. The crew was polite, professional and well prepared to do the work quickly and efficiently. I would recommend ABA in a heartbeat to anyone with heating and a/c problems. These guys rock. Just attempted to turn my furnace on for this cold, wet day, and it would not kick on. Classic. So I called these guys and thanks to Randy my heat was on and running in hours. Bad thermostat I guess. Thanks. Highly professional.

Called ABA yesterday when my heater wasn’t working, they got someone out the day of and didn’t leave my family in the cold. Our heater was replaced for an affordable amount in a short period of time. I will defiantly be using them from here on out.

I’ve read the reviews and i understand the frustration of some but I have had great service from the first phone call(by my wife) to my call with Mr. Davis and the visit and consultation/quote with Randy. My A/C unit is thirteen years old, a Trane from Sears…got a quote from Sears…no way! Compared three quotes… I believe I’m going to trust Randy, Mr. Davis and ABA.

I sent a request to ABA at 2:30am online, and they contacted me by 8:00am that morning, and had someone there by 8:30. The A/C problem was rectified and the repairman was fantastic. This is the first time I have ever left a review for a repairman, and it is well deserved. Thanks again ABA for jumping in so quickly!!

Nothing like having your system go out in the midst of triple digits!! I called ABA Heating & Cooling and from 1st contact, my joyful experience began! The staff was very professional, caring and empathetic to my situation and my need to have someone out asap to repair my a/c system. I called at 9am and they had a tech at my house within the hour. Sadly my system had finally decided to call it quits, after all those years and ABA quoted a very reasonable price for a new system install, as well as they had my new system installed and cooling my family by 3pm that same day. From the get go, each and every person from ABA was extremely pleasant and professional. I understand that sometimes things don’t always go so smoothly, but to read some of the reviews left for this company I find a bit hard to believe. 5 Thumbs up for excellent service, professionalism and productivity!!

ABA was a great help to us in our time of need when our AC died on a 100 degree day. Special thanks to Rudy for coming out so late and informing me of the extensive repairs that needed to be done. He was very curteous and professional, he was also very helpful in informing our landlord how serious the issue was.

The next day, the crew (Dorian & Richard) put in a ton of work basically installing a whole new system, all while being professional and timely.

Thanks again for helping to keep us from cooking like turkeys in our own house!

Called this company on a Friday afternoon around 6:30pm. Their answering service was knowledgable and friendly. I immediately had a call-back from ABA within 30 minutes. They knew what they were talking about, answered all of my questions, and set me up for an appointment the next morning. The technician arrived on time and was extremely professional. Aaron installed a new Nest control center and checked out my current ac system to see if it needed any maintenance. Aaron took pride in doing his job and doing it the right way (all the way down to helping me paint the wall around the Nest where the old thermostat originally sat).

From start to finish my experience with ABA was perfect. This company is first class.

I called them at 6:30 on a Saturday evening. Ian showed up 1 hour later. Checked my entire air system an could find nothing wrong. My A/C and Heating Unit both had to be replaced and it was done in a very timely manner and works perfectly and have had absolutely no problems since the installation. Everyone associated with ABA was so very friendly and helpful to me and being a very senior citizen that is not always the case with some of these companies. They did everything they told me they were going to do plus they left behind no mess for me to clean up. Amazing service and I thank you.

My mother inlaw got a quote for air conditioning replacement and this company went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. Now that it’s getting hotter my A/C was having trouble keeping my house cool, and it was getting up to 80+ degrees inside in the afternoons. I called ABA and they had someone out the next day to diagnose the problem. They were prompt, courteous, and even walked me through a couple different options for what we could do based on different prices. 10/10 would recommend!

My AC unit was acting up and needed help figuring out what was wrong. ABA Heating and Cooling came out super-fast and were so professional. They were honest with me about everything and told me what kind of repairs I would need as well as what the costs were and how long the repairs will take. • No task was too complicated for them to do for us. This is a one phone call company. We have several properties and if we need something fixed the first time ,ABA gets the job done. They have worked on our AC units and our appliances. They took the worry out of worrying.
We use ABA in Austin for several years. There is no differences in quality and professionalism of the techs. Their techs are up to date with the latest equipment and can fix it the first time. Kendall came out for my refrigerator not cooling he diagnosed and had it fixed within a week. He was great!! I have and will continue to recommend ABA to all my neighbors.

It has been a long hot day at the Tindall household. Our AC stopped working last night. This morning I called ABA Heating and Cooling serving Pflugerville. They sent out a technician within 30 minutes of my phone call, no window of time to wait. When they arrived they provided us with a window unit to install in our living room to help with the heat in the house. Needless to say it’s 6:30 and we have a brand new AC unit installed and working wonderfully. I highly recommend this company for all your heating and cooling needs. We only gave a five star rating because there are not 10 stars to choose from.

We had an air conditioning situation – it conked out at 9pm on a Friday night when we had paying guests – and we couldn’t have been more grateful to ABA – and couldn’t have been happier with their service. The phone operators were wonderful and super prompt, and within an hour I was at the house meeting the technician, Tyler. He was incredible – super friendly, efficient and knowledgable. He had the system up and running in no time, and was extremely thorough explaining what the problem had been. Excellent company, excellent customer service. We were so grateful – as were our guests.

We have enjoyed the professional service over the past year from ABA personnel in office & out in the field. There has been very good reception for requests of work to be done on our 10 Residential rental properties. There is very good feedback with copies of invoice for billing & registered equipment.The Techs communication is very good for discussions of active on the job problem solving & decision making. Tyler was great on both visits, Dean did a great job helping me pick a system that was going to do everything I was expecting and the crew on Monday was fantastic and so polite. Very customer service oriented. It’s been less than a week but there is a HUGE difference. My husband has asthma and I was explaining this to Dean and Tyler and they were able to get me a system that has been working wonders. My husband said to me yesterday that he hasn’t had to use his puffer AT ALL for a few days now since the new system has been installed.

He can breathe easily and I have noticed a big difference in temperature throughout the house. I haven’t had to fight with the temperature settings since I programmed the schedule. The thermostat is super easy to use as well and looks very stylish. I’m amazed and so happy I found you guys. Great service, great team and all the ladies who I’ve spoken to from the office have been so helpful!

I had family in town in March during one of the first hot weekends and my AC wasn’t working! I called ABA and they had a tech out within 24-hours. He was extremely helpful and time efficient and had my AC working within an hour. He told me exactly how much it was going to cost and what he needed to repair. Very transparent and cost effective. The following Monday they called to make sure everything was still working and I was satisfied. Super nice family and employees that run the business. They saved the weekend! I would highly recommend them for any HVAC service!

We are delighted to share that everyone at ABA was responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. They attempted several times to diagnose our problem with our A/C system before they even arranged the appointment. This means that if we had a very simple problem that we could potentially solve ourselves, it would have saved a call altogether. That is service you rarely find any more. I appreciate how difficult HVAC work can be, particularly during a Texas August. Big shout out to ABA heating and cooling – My air conditioner went out on a hot summer day and ABA provided exceptional same day service. Aaron was able to replace the fan during the initial visit and air conditioner was up and running. Thanks ABA for the dedicated service.

Tim Kaye is the best!!! He came out today because my unit had a Freon leak. He fixed that leak, but I called to have him come back because the unit wasn’t cooling well. He spent another 3 hours inside the unit where he found another leak that no one else did. It wasn’t detectable using any of the tools they have, but he noticed a noise and put his hands into the unit to discover that two small copper pipes were rubbing against each other and when the unit was rumbling the pipes would separate and that’s when it would leak. NO ONE ELSE SAW THIS!!! Tim fixed that second leak, pulled all the copper pipes apart so none would be rubbing and might cause that in the future, vacuumed out all the moisture caused by the leak (that turns to ice inside the unit which causes a racket), and made sure it was all tip top before putting the cover on it. The unit runs correctly now and is SO MUCH QUIETER!!! He spent 4 hours to MAKE SURE IT WAS FIXED RIGHT BEFORE LEAVING!!!

THANK YOU TIM KAYE, YOU HAVE MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THIS HOUSEHOLD WITH THE SUMMER RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!!! I will ask for you EVERY TIME!!!

I’ve been a customer of ABA for almost 5 years and have been very satisfied with their service during that time. They installed a new AC and heating for me and regularly maintain it. Their technicians are respectful, knowledgeable and dependable. I highly recommend ABA!

Tyler and ABA heating have been incredible. Up until my a recent purchase from ABA of a new HVAC, I was using a system that was easily 30 years old and on its last leg (to put it nicely). I’ve been working with ABA and Tyler for years now and never once was I pressured to get a new unit. He did everything in his power to keep the old one going as long as possible. Tyler is friendly, professional, kind hearted and treats his customers like family. He goes out of his way and makes himself available for consult even at incredibly inconvenient times. I would recommend ABA to all of my friends and family. They do a great job, are trust worthy and take genuine pride in their work.

Had faulty wiring that was causing multiple error codes to where my unit would not function properly. ABA sent two professional, polite gentlemen to install new wiring and re-diagnose my unit for any errors. They were patient with me and answered all of my questions. While working from home less than 10ft from them, they were not too intrusive/loud(er than needed to be) and I was able to keep working uninterrupted. I am extremely happy with ABA’s service personnel and I am happy to report that my unit is working beautifully. I have never had a bad experience with ABA. I highly recommend using them!

ABA has always been outstanding in sending someone out to take a look at AC or heating issues when we have called them. Managing several properties, this is very important to us. The techs have always called to let us know what the problem is and to request authorization to fix before actually performing the fix which we also appreciate very much. They were the only company that answered the phone during a Texas State of Emergency Winter Storm and remained in touch during the week so we could rest assured that our needs would be met and our heat would remain on.

Our technician, Tim was out all day and night (making sure that he made it to every stop so we wouldn’t have to wait) battling the obstacles from the cold himself, and ensuring that people had heat during the terrible weather. He was thorough, descriptive, friendly, and treated us with kindness and compassion.

I am so grateful to this local company for their dedication to quality service and to Tim for his experience and dedication.

Cody was the technician that came to service our system behind the mess that Strand Brothers made. He troubleshooted the entire system before diagnosing it, something that Strand Brothers and Fox services did not do but charges for. He got our system running as Strand Brothers (SB) had it wired incorrectly, SB had replaced our thermostats, and SB had cut our damper to turn it off. Had we had called ABA Heating and Cooling first, we would have saved money in unnecessary replacement of parts that probably were ok in the first place. The office staff at ABA are professional and courteous. The technician was on time and knows his stuff! I can’t save enough about this company!

Tuesday I had a new A/C unit installed, after reading how important a proper installation is to the function of the unit(less than five years old), I feel that was part of the problem, the difference between the two is night and day. The tech was very professional and knowledgeable .Thank you for being old school and taking pride in your work. 4 dogs and I are very cool and happy.

Just had ABA come out and check my AC which has been on the fritz for the better part of the past month. Blake came out, was personable and efficient along with letting me know what the exact issue was and showing me a pic of the issue he found. In this day and age it can be hard to trust some services as you hear the horror stories about people getting ripped off. I will definitely be using ABA again when an issue arises or if I need to get an entirely new unit in the future. HIGHLY recommend these guys and don’t hesitate to ask for Blake.

ABA was a lifesaver for our family. After being out of town for the weekend, we came home to a hot house and discovered a snake had crawled into the outside unit and wrapped around the fan. When the fan turned on the snake was dead and the fan was not turning. We reached out to another company who promised to get out to us that evening but they never showed up. The next morning after contacting 10 other companies, ABA was the only one who could actually send someone same day for an emergency repair. Blake (I think that was his name) showed up on time and had the unit running and cooling in less than 30 minutes. He was very professional and friendly. The capacitor went out after some electrical issues were resolved and we’d started to boil. Todd came out and worked until 10pm to get us cooled down. He explained how the thermometer setting translates into degrees trying to be pushed through the vent and what will freeze your system up if you’re not careful. Todd is my family’s hero tonight !!

We were in a bad way with the ac fan not working on a Friday evening. We called ABA and Tyler was sent out and he diagnosed the problem as a bad condenser. I was really appreciative to him and the company for being so prompt and efficient.

After 3 days of rotating power outage, our heater stopped working. Luckily, I reached Blue Ribbon and they were so nice and sent people out within a few hours. They got our heat working right away and are working hard to get the part we need to have it fully functional. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, kind. Highly recommend!

This is a company that cares about its customers. We had a very thorny issue with our AC unit and Dean continued to dog the problem until it was fixed, all with a total attitude of friendliness and enthusiasm. The answering service picks up on the second ring every time, no matter what time we have called, and ABA pricing is fair and clear. Top notch service, excellent experience.

I highly recommend ABA AC & Htg. I called on a Sunday late morning – answering service said they would give message to their office. Missy @ ABA called back in 3 minutes! Ian, their technician, was here a couple hours after that, made repair and my AC was working again! Stellar service from beginning to end & extremely fair pricing – especially on a Sunday when its 100° outside and Ian had to go in the attic 🙁

On the hottest day of the year, my Moms air conditioning went out after hours on Friday. Her caregiver and I called about 20 so-called emergency a/c service companies. The only one that could actually provide service before Monday was ABA. Ian came out within an hour and could not have been nicer or more helpful. I had an Amazing experience with ABA! I came home late after work to find my heater not working. I called to schedule a technician, the office was very helpful and friendly. So great!! I had Aaron come to my home for a system check. My home is 10 years old…I was worried that there would be major issues. There were not. There are maintenance things that need to be done–in the near future. Aaron explained all I needed and gave me the price for each in writing. Crazy good, right?? He was delightful I cannot recommend the local, family-owned company more!!

Called this company on a Friday afternoon around 6:30pm. Their answering service was knowledgable and friendly. I immediately had a call-back from ABA within 30 minutes. They knew what they were talking about, answered all of my questions, and set me up for an appointment the next morning. The technician arrived on time and was extremely professional. Aaron installed a new Nest control center and checked out my current ac system to see if it needed any maintenance. Aaron took pride in doing his job and doing it the right way (all the way down to helping me paint the wall around the Nest where the old thermostat originally sat). From start to finish my experience with ABA was perfect. This company is first class.

I was in need of a split AC system in a timely manner, Aaron came out the same day I called and provided a quote and the system was installed within two days. Several weeks later we had to put a service call in on the system not cooling, Aaron informed me that the tech on call was not his best on these units so he would come out and take a look himself. Keep in mind this was a Saturday and Aaron was on a fishing trip, he told me that it is the right thing to do to take care of the customer. I can’t thank him enough or the professionalism that we have had with ABA. Great job and service.

We have used this company several times! Always had the same tech. The only complaint would be that when we discovered the A/C was not cooling and called, they asked if it was an emergency, and we said yes. It was after 10am the next day before they came. The temp was 88 when we called, Mr. McAtee is almost 84 and it was extremely hard for him all night!

It’s getting a little warm out and I decided to turn my AC on for some air flow. As soon as I did, it suddenly shut off on its own. I called ABA up and they sent a tech out to diagnose and treat the problem. Great repair work from a trusted company. Will definitely call again in the future.

It took a while to get the new HVAC set up up to work with the wireless thermostat I already had (works on the same app as my security system so I wanted to keep it). Said was very knowledgeable and patient while we figured out how to get it all set up to work with the new 2 stage unit.

Our heat went out last fall and another company came out and quoted the repairs at $1300, just to start. After getting along with some agreed to minor repairs we got through the rest if the season until this May when A/C was needed. ABA came out and assessed the situation, gave me a no-nonsense quote in what was needed and repaired the unit to working order in one day. True to their word there was zero service call charge and the quote was exactly the same as the final bill. It took two trips by two servicemen to complete the job but I was impressed with their courtesy, knowledge, and fast repair time. A great company to work with and they have great people and prices! Will highly recommend them to friends, family, and neighbors for any HVAC needs!

My A/C wasn’t working, so I called about 8 a.m. to try to get it serviced before the heat of the day. I was happy to hear that they could send someone over between 12 and 1 that day. I went out to run errands, and had just pulled into my driveway about 12:30, and he pulled up right about that time. (He was supposed to give me a call as he was heading that way–he tried, but said the call didn’t go through–technology! That was no biggy though.) Anyway, he diagnosed the problem–fire ants in the relay switch–and replaced the part in minutes. He also checked the coolant levels and said they were good. Now the A/C is blowing nice, cold air. Thanks!

When I called ABA for repair of my broken air conditioner I thought I was looking at having to replace the old ac unit….it turns out I just had a bad breaker in the electrical panel. Once they replaced the breaker the unit fired up and works fine. I really appreciate that ABA was so honest and only fixed what really needed to be repaired. It’s refreshing to have a service company who provides great service. I definitely recommend.

We did a tuneup for spring in April 2013. All system are a go and cooling fine. Thanks to a well trained and dependable group at ABA Heating and Cooling.

We had a new ac unit made by Carrier and it was just barely out of warranty when it broke down. My wife called and ABA serviced and repaired the unit the same morning. The workman was very clean and did a nice job. It was a little expensive but they no more than ARS or Sears would charge.

My air conditioning unit stopped working and I called ABA. They were out in an hour and fixed the unit within 45 minutes. I live in Georgetown so getting Austin contractors usually takes a day or more. They quoted the cost to fix the unit upfront and did not charge me any service call fee. I’d use them again.

When my ac until stopped cooling I shopped around and found many different austin area ac repair companies but only ABA would come out with no service call charge since I did the repair. I am on a limited income so I do appreciate the companies who work with seniors to help us get the most value for a dollar. I also appreciate how the technician took the time to explain to me just what work he was performing on the ac unit. Thank you all.

Our AC unit was not calling so after we had enough of trying to fix it ourselves we called in ABA. They diagnosed and repaired the problem in 15 minutes. It works fine BUT they are really pricey. I don’t know that I would use them again if it’s something I had time to shop around for and get a cheaper price. I give them a 5 star rating on how quick they came out but a 2 star on prices.
