Residential HVAC Lead Installer
Pay: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (commission pay scale, annual salary guarantee considered for qualified candidates)
ABA Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Lead Installer to join our team. Most of our work is residential changeouts and ductwork, with some light commercial, remodels, and mini-split installs. We pride ourselves on quality installations and want installers who share our high standards.
Requirements:
2+ years as a lead installer (3+ years HVAC field experience)
Valid driver’s license + ability to register with TDLR
Own basic HVAC replacement tools
Knowledge of inverter/communicating system installations
Must live in the Austin area
Ability to work weekends and long hours during peak season
Professional, courteous, and able to manage/train a helper
Responsibilities:
Lead residential HVAC installs (systems + ductwork)
Light commercial and mini-split installs as needed
Train/manage installation helpers
Ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Benefits:
$70,000 – $100,000 per year

HVAC Installation Helper
Pay: $17 – $21 per hour (plus commission and signing bonus)
ABA Appliance, Inc. is looking for a motivated, hard-working HVAC Installation Helper. This is an entry-level position with clear upward mobility — many helpers become Lead Installers earning $70K–$85K/year after just a couple of years.
Requirements:
Basic hand and power tool knowledge
Valid driver’s license + ability to register with TDLR
Reliable transportation to our Austin shop (78757)
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme heat
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Willingness to work extended hours during peak season
Responsibilities:
Assist lead installer with HVAC equipment installs
Maintain truck inventory and jobsite cleanliness
Support the team on residential projects
Benefits:
$17 – $21 per hour

Residential HVAC Service Technicians
Pay: $20 – $35 per hour (plus commissions and bonuses)
ABA Service, Inc. is hiring experienced Residential HVAC Service Technicians. With over 600 clients on bi-annual service agreements, we provide steady work year-round, a supportive environment, and consistent hours.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year HVAC experience
EPA Type II certification
Valid driver’s license
Strong diagnostic and customer service skills
Responsibilities:
Run service calls (diagnostics & no-cools)
Perform scheduled maintenance on client systems
Replace compressors, TXVs, motors, etc.
Turn over system replacement calls to comfort specialists
